Project X: The Sewers
Concept for the environment of Fagin's Children. The idea is a sewer
garden made out of the clutter of gears and other discarded machines and
junk. The deformed children tend to it and life shyly blossoms in a
deary, desolate place. The top is the finished illustration while the
bottom was the initial line sketch. I kind of overdid the illustration
and lost the area of focus while trying to concentrate on the clutter
and details. But it was a fun drawing to do. Done with ballpoint pen.

Project X: Fagin Children
Sketches for Project X, a Steampunk game concept. These are sketches of
Fagin's Children, deformed doll-like children who are cruelly exploited
by Fagin. Like toys, these orphaned street children have their limbs
amputated and replaced with mechanical parts in order to serve better as
slave soldiers.

Project X: Jack the Ripper
Sketched idea of Jack the Ripper for Project X. He is flamboyant, outrageous and maniacal. Surgical tools are implanted
into him as mechanical limbs of sorts. Done in ballpoint pen.

Junkyard House
Decided to put a couple of old stuff up as a kind of archive for myself.
School assignment done a while back in 2008. My teacher was Roy Wilson an old
Disney artist and animator who told lots of interesting stories about his life. These are sketches of a scrap
house done for a couple of animal characters. Ballpoint and blue pencil.

Thudd and Squirt
Done some time back in 2008 as part of a class assignment. This is about
Thudd, a caveboy and his pet dinosaur, Squirt. If I have a chance, would
love to update some of the design on them. Ballpoint and blue pencil.

Illustration: The Gunslinger
An illustration done as part of a children's collection. I was inspired by Roland Deschain of Stephen King's Dark Tower series as well as the spaghetti westerns of old.

The Realms: Troll
The "Second-in-command" in the Inn. The troll is a gruff, brutish character whose exterior belies a gentle soul, caring soul. Serving as mentor behind
his mop (the squid-thing on his back) and bucket, he discreetly keep things to a manageable level for Kathleen
to run. Although done in 2009, I touched up his picture a little before uploading. :)

The Realms: Traveling Merchant
The traveling merchant sells everything; from nondescript pots and pens to flying carpets and even rare, precious enchanted weapons. However, let the buyer beware - not everything is as he says it is and there is absolutely no refunds!

The Realms: Inn
The inn can be found at the lower reaches of the Tree. In some places, the inn looks haphazardly put
together. However, it is fondly received because of the warmth and eclectic
charm it exudes. It is home and haven to
a group of oddball characters. Part of 'The Realms' FYP project.

The Realms: Industrial Mines
Environment design from my FYP project "The Realms'. The industrial mines are located below the ground at the roots of the Tree where the blue-collar working class as well as more unsavory characters dwell.

The Realms: Inner Entrance
This is the inner entrance to the Tree, the lesser known entrance used by savvier travelers frequenting the Realms.
